US Air Force planes in the airspace of Syria opened fire on Russian Su-25 attack aircraft.
This is reported by the Glavpost with reference to The Independent.
According to an unnamed American official, the US Air Force F-22 fired several warning shots after Russian Su-25 aircraft violated the agreed flight zone created to avoid unintentional incidents.
After the incident, Russian aircraft left the area.
According to American sources, the situation developed for several minutes, as the Su-25 several times violated the demarcation line.
As the newspaper writes, earlier the Central Command of the Air Force of the United States indicated that Russian aircraft regularly invade zones controlled by American aviation.
