According to the information of the department, as of 22. 09. 2017 courts adopted only 29 verdicts with the release of a person from serving a prescribed sentence in connection with an amnesty.

As noted, the law of September 7, 2017 came into force.

Also, according to military prosecutors on formal grounds, under the amnesty law, there are 1,722 participants in an anti-terrorist operation, of which 1,115 have the status of a combatant.

Recall, as previously reported in the "URA-Inform", Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Andrei Parubiy signed a bill on educational reform in Ukraine. The head of parliament signed the document at a briefing on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada and assured that today the law will be handed over for signature to the president of Ukraine.
