Yesterday, September 5, the mission of the International Monetary Fund arrived in Kiev. IMF representatives start work today. This UNN became known from its own sources.

"Yes, representatives of the mission arrived in Kiev yesterday. Before, they are already working, "- said the source to the agency.

Previously, UNN reported that the IMF mission will visit Kiev during the period from 6 to 19 September 2018.

In the National Bank, the fact that the IMF mission will come to Ukraine in September is positive for the economy. The central bank expects that the results of the visit will be positive and Ukraine will be able to receive a tranche of about $ 2 billion by the end of the autumn.

The Ministry of Finance noted that it plans to discuss with the IMF mission the continuation of cooperation after the end of the expanded financing program in March 2019.
