Galatasaray striker Viktor Osimgen spoke about his enmity during the confrontation with Juventus. The Turkish team won 5:2 at home, but did not lose their advantage in Turin, conceding three goals in regulation time.
In the extra time, the Istanbulites gained a numerical advantage, scored two goals and went further. The author of one of the goals was a Nigerian.
" I know this team and the atmosphere at this stadium amazingly. I'm ready for the Juventus fans to give us a warm welcome. Let us give it to our fans carefully - we almost didn’t want to disappoint them.
We got ours, but, frankly speaking, we need to work on a lot more,” the forward said to UEFA.
In the 1/8 finals Galatasaray will compete with Liverpool or Tottenham.
