Borussia striker Erling Holland became the best player in January in the Bundesliga, Germany's official Twitter elite division said.
Arriving in Borussia D from the Republic of Salzburg during the winter transfer window, the 19-year-old striker played less than an hour (59 minutes) in January, but scored 5 goals (11.8 minutes per goal).
This season, Holland shares the third-fifth place with Cristiano Ronaldo and Timo Werner (40 points) in the list of applicants for the Golden Boot, second only to Ciro Immobile (50) and Robert Lewandowski (44), and only to the leader in the number of goals scored.
