Since March 2026, the Ukrainian authorities have been delivering food to the occupied Oleshki on the left bank of the Dnieper. About 2,000 Ukrainians are blocked there, including almost 50 children. The head of the OVA, Alexander Prokudin, announced this on September 27.
Recently, the Ukrainian military and border guards carried out one of the largest such operations. About 4,000 kg of food was delivered to the city and distributed to 100 specific locations.
" Since March, together with the unit of the 11th NSU brigade and the defenders of the 34th separate marine brigade, Borisfen, we have been systematically delivering food across the Dnieper using drones,” noted Prokudin.
Recently we managed to carry out one of the largest such operations.
Thus, in collaboration with the 30th Marine Corps, the Grіm tactical group, the 34th Borisfen Marine Brigade, the Bolgarichi unit of the 11th NSU Brigade, the 34th National Guard Regiment and the 79th Border Detachment, they delivered about 4,000 kilograms of food to one hundred specific locations in the city at once.
Throughout the occupation, the Russian military has been trying to prevent the delivery of aid. In particular, they shoot down drones with food, take away or resell food intended for children and the elderly.
In addition, for receiving humanitarian packages, the Russian military detains residents of Oleshki, beats them and uses violence.
" Everyone involved in these actions will bear inevitable responsibility,” the head of the OVA emphasized..
