Midfielder Manchester City Alexander Zinchenko commented on the match against Liverpool.
Manchester City lost to Liverpool in the match of the International Cup of Champions.
"I think we played well. We failed to realize all the chances that we had, but, in my opinion, in the end of the match it was necessary to appoint a penalty. On the field came a lot of young players, we have never played in this composition, but all played well. Of course, we need to improve, but still we just had no luck, "- quotes Zinchenko official site Man City.
"We tried to play in our usual style, sometimes it worked out, sometimes not. Of course, we did not disgrace ourselves. We know that we need to improve our game. We have a long way to go, I hope the next season will be even better than the last, especially in the Champions League, "said Zinchenko.
