On Thursday, July 2, Ukrainian tennis player Daria Snigur (No. 77 WTA) played the second round match of the Wimbledon 2026 singles tournament.

She played against Frenchwoman Leolie Jeanjean (No. 132 WTA) and won in two sets with a score of 6:4, 6:3.

It is noted that the match lasted 1 hour 21 minutes. The Ukrainian served three times, made one double fault and used five of seven break points.

This was the second meeting of these tennis players, and the Ukrainian equalized the score in their confrontation.



For Snigur, reaching the third round of Wimbledon became her best achievement in her career at Grand Slam tournaments.
