The head coach of the Argentina national team Jorge Sampaoli made a decision that the striker Inter Mauro Ikardi will not go to the upcoming World Cup, reports Fox Sports.
According to the source, the main reason for this decision is the strained relations of Ikardi with other players of the national team. Part of this is due to not the brightest game of the 25-year-old forward for the national team, for which he did not score a single goal in three matches under the leadership of Sampaoli.
In the current season, Icardi spent 22 matches in Serie A, where he scored 18 goals and gave one assists.
