The court decided to leave former People's Deputy Nikolai Martynenko on bails of people's deputies and ministers. As stated by the presiding judge Nikolai Prisyazhnyuk, the court leaves the complaint of the SAP's prosecutors without satisfaction. The decision of the Solomensky Court to remain in force.

At the same time, Roman Syamkiv, the prosecutor, noted that in the opinion of the SAP, the suspicions put forward against the accused are justified and the risks described are indicative of the fact that the preventive measure of Martynenko is too soft. According to prosecutors, Martynenko can use social networks and the media to influence public opinion and accused defenders of improper conduct.

Recall SAP requests to appoint Nikolay Martynenko an alternative preventive measure in the form of a pledge of 300 million hryvnia. In turn, lawyers assure that Martynenko is not going to travel outside Ukraine and the risks are contrived.

As reported URA-Inform, the trial of Martynenko, where he was elected preventive measure, was held on April 21-22.

By decision of the investigative judge of the Solomensky district court of Kiev, Alexander Bobrovnik, the ex-deputy was bailed out by 15 people's deputies and four ministers.

Detention Martynenko occurred on the evening of April 20. He was detained on suspicion of involvement in a major embezzlement. According to the investigation, "Oriental GOK" signed a contract with Martynenko-controlled intermediary company for supply of uranium concentrate at inflated prices, as a result of which the interests of the state enterprise were damaged in the amount of $ 17.28 million.
