During the current day, January 17, silence was observed in the overwhelming number of sections of the Joint Forces Operation. One ceasefire violation was recorded along the entire contact line.

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Joint Forces.

Not far from the settlement of Shyrokyne, the Russian occupation forces opened fire towards the Ukrainian positions from an anti-tank grenade launcher.

OSCE representatives reported on violation of ceasefire through Ukrainian side of JCCC. There are no combat losses among the personnel of the Joint Forces.

Today, GSNS sappers have cleared almost 2 hectares of land and transferred 6 explosives for destruction.
