This is reported by Rudaw.
As noted, the release was started at dawn on Friday, November 17, and by the morning the operations commander, Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Rashid Yaralla, said his troops entered the center of Rawa.
Soon the Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, who is also the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, congratulated the troops on the victory. He also said that operations continue in the desert on the border with Syria.
Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform," an international coalition led by the United States over the past three weeks, eliminated at least four key ISIG terrorists in Syria and Iraq.
