Go out into the arena of the strong

Write about nevyborov boring. At one site in Makhachkala, a group of local "fighters" attacked observers who were trying to fix the stuffing, and on the other aunty-member of the commission did without power support, gently loading the ballot box with ballots - and what? Thrown in general everywhere, from Chechnya to the very outskirts, directly under the video cameras, without doubts and fears. And who cares? - writes Ilya Milstein in the column on "Radio Liberty".

Here and there the deaths were not unsuccessful, while the living were sometimes denied the right to choose a president - will we be indignant? Chased the country's budget employees, students, soldiers - angrily brand the shameful phenomenon or breathe tired? Well, and, of course, the carousels have successfully turned - will we even comment on it or not?.

There is practically nothing to comment on. The system of state supervision of elections is so well established that it can not work without lies, coercion and falsifications even if it wants to. So, even Pamfilov, honest in appearance, designed to symbolize the constitutional chastity of power, is powerless to change anything. On the ground, it will be corrected anyway, wishing only good to the multinational Russian people and top officials. Here in Makhachkala, strong men come out into the arena, and in the Burdenko hospital they vote under anesthesia. All this should be perceived without anger and addiction, but with a philosophical detachment from the bustle of the worldly. Having deleted from memory the damned 90's with their unpredictability and tough political struggle between candidates of various levels, including the presidential.

Another sad topic: a multi-month polemic between supporters of Navalny, who called for an active boycott of non-selectors, and other oppositionists who had other plans. Choose yourself a little Sobchak and quite a bit of Yavlinsky, or put in the urn a leaf with the inscription "tired" and similar in meaning words. As a result of discussions, everyone lost, and this moment is worth fixing. The tragic inability of politically oriented politicians to agree among themselves is also not news for a long time, but, it seems, never surprising this quibbling did not incline to thoughts so hopeless. Already, it seems, before the mice crushed in debates, to the statistical error, and still they have something to argue, finding out the relationship and insulting each other.

In times past, much more optimistic, most effectively split the democratic ranks Grigory Alekseevich. Today in his footsteps (more precisely, hand in hand) they go all - and Navalny with Milov and Yashin, and Ksenia Sobchak, who is against all. The post-election rude discussion of Anatoly Alekseevich with Ksenia Anatolievna showed how everything was launched. This does not mean that, having united, they would have taken out of the Kremlin the so-called Putin. But this means that even after the end of the irreparable Putin era, if we suddenly live, we should not expect miracles.

As for the winner of the presidential race, he was known at least six years ago, when he again sat on the throne, driving out a loyal friend from there. A small intrigue here was created by Putin himself, shortly before the election, delivered a message in which he outlined the goal for the coming years: a direct clash with the West. Up to the Third World War. Running for another term, the self-promoter with his siloviki literally, and not metaphorically, as last time, suggested compatriots to die near Moscow (and everywhere), voting for him. To all they were "putty". There was a tiny chance that the Russians, as it were, would be embarrassed, struck by the grandeur of the goal and terrified. At least from the sense of self-preservation, worrying for themselves, for children, for grandchildren.

However, the Russians were not embarrassed and chose Putin, which should not be surprised. First, there was no one to vote for, they were too used to Vladimir Vladimirovich. Secondly, they were selected by candidates in the mass of their own, that next to them, yelling in the studio, the permanent leader looked unusually solid and attractive. Thirdly, it is not for nothing that they, the voters, were brought up and zombified by endless victories for eighteen consecutive years. This is a long time. That is why the nuclear war did not become a hindrance to the national choice. So many troubles with him survived - and this, perhaps, survive.

In this mood, it can be assumed that those who voluntarily came to the ballot boxes and who were driven to them voted for the national leader. And those who, not believing their own happiness, chose for some reason other candidates, spoiled ballots or stayed home on a holiday, and helped. Through carousels, throws and other falsifications. Without them it was impossible to do without - and it did not happen.

For the next six years I will not make a guess - it's pointless.

To survive without much loss the next few months, during which Putin, secured by the people's trust, will pursue his policy, both internal and external. A new era begins, full, I'm not afraid of these words, grandiose events, and no forecast now seems too gloomy. However, we will evaluate the upcoming news as they are received, but for the time being we state an immutable fact: writing about non-selection is boring. To nausea.
