As of 7:00 am on the technical territory of the arsenal near Balakleya of the Kharkov region single explosions of ammunition of various intensity are observed, the press service of the State Service for Emergency Situations.
For the purpose of liquidation of individual foci of decay, three tanks and an engineering machine of defenses (IMR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Water is delivered to the arsenal by three tank-vehicles of the State Emergency Service.
"During the 25th of March there were no fires on the territory of Balakleya and nearby settlements. Gas supply in the city is off. On the eve of the Balakley station the railway traffic was restored. Closed airspace within a radius of 40 km from the scene, "- told the rescuers.
At the same time, the pyrotechnic units of the SDSU clear territories from explosive items and ammunition residues. Demining works are carried out by 75 pyrotechnics and 27 units of special equipment of the SSNS. As of today, five sectors of the city have already been cleared.
"In total, 820 explosive items were confiscated since the beginning of the work," the press service of the department.
According to the rescuers, over 2663 people and 236 units of equipment are concentrated in the emergency zone, including 420 people from the SSES and 107 units of special and fire equipment. Also on the railway station Shebelinka are on duty two fire trains "Ukrzaliznytsia".
Representatives of local authorities continue to inspect the damaged buildings of the city and the district in order to determine the extent of destruction. In all, 20 such groups are working at the site of the incident, consisting of representatives of design organizations, workers of the district state administration and deputies of the city council.
In the city of Balakleya, Kharkov region, on the night of March 23, a large ammunition depot exploded, where artillery and tank shells were stored. SBU opened a criminal case on the fact of explosions in Balakley and investigates the incident as a diversion. In addition, the military prosecutor's office instituted criminal proceedings on these facts under the article "Negligence".
