The TV channel in one of the programs showed a map of Ukraine without the occupied Crimea.

The National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting appealed to the TV channel "Belarus 24" with a request to eliminate violations of broadcasting, which does not correspond to the legislation of Ukraine, the press service of the National Council.

So, the channel is supposed to broadcast the map of Ukraine on February 14 in one of the programs with the absence of the Crimea occupied by Russia.

"Such editorial policy testifies to the support of the television channel for the aggressive actions of the Russian Federation towards Ukraine, in particular, the annexation of the Crimea. This fact is also a violation of Article 28 of the Law of Ukraine "On Information", - reads the message.

However, this was not the only violation.

As the National Council notes, the TV channel broadcasts preconceived information about the current situation in Ukraine, not adhering to generally accepted journalistic standards.

"So, on February 26, the balance of views on certain political events in Ukraine was not observed in the information and analytical program" Main Aether ", which led to a one-sided coverage of them," the message says..

Thus, the National Council asks the broadcaster to take action, otherwise the question will be raised about the termination of the channel's broadcast on the territory of Ukraine.
