In the war between Russia and the US, if it had turned from a "cold" into a "hot" war, there would have been no winners.
This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with American director Oliver Stone, a fragment of which was shown by Showtime.
"I think that no one would have survived," Putin said, answering Stone's question, would defeat the United States in this war.
According to the President of the Russian Federation, there is a hope for improving relations between countries.
"There is always hope, until we are carried in white slippers to the cemetery," he said..
We note that the video was released before the premiere of Stone's documentary on Putin.
