The results of sociological polls published on the eve of the second round of the French presidential election predict the victory of Emmanuel Macron with a significant margin.

According to the Ifop-Fiducial poll, commissioned by Paris Match, CNews and Sud Radio, Maccon is ready to vote 63% of French citizens who are going to come to polling stations. At the same time, 37% of voters are ready to support Marin Le Pen.

Turnout in the second round is expected at 75.5%.

Similar results were shown by surveys of the Elabe research center commissioned by BFM TV and the OpinionWay-Orpi sociological company commissioned by Les Echos and Radio Classique. They forecast the support of Macron voters at 62%.

Researchers note some growth in Macron's support and associate it with the defiantly aggressive behavior of Le Pen during the televised debate on May 3.

At the same time, according to the Elabe poll, 53% of voters are going to vote for Makron solely for the purpose of preventing Le Pen from taking office.

Recall, in the second round of the presidential elections in France, which will be held on May 7, left the leader of the movement "Forward!" Emmanuel Macron and the head of the "National Front" Marin Le Pen.

Candidate for "Republicans" Francois Fillon and Socialist Benois Amon called on their constituents to vote for Macron in the second round.
