Most Russians are tired of waiting for positive changes in their lives from Putin

Most of the citizens of the Russian Federation (51%) agree with the opinion that the Russian population is already tired of waiting for some positive changes in their life from Vladimir Putin, 35% do not agree, 14% found it difficult to answer, according to a poll by the Levada Center,.

Back in November 2016, the balance of responses to the same question was 41% at 41%.

According to the survey, 72% of Russians trust Putin, 19% do not trust, 9% found it difficult to answer.

The main achievements of Putin over the years of his reign (since 2000) were called by the Russians the increase in combat capability and the reform of the armed forces (balance of positive and negative assessments + 34%), the strengthening of Russia's international positions (+ 29%) and the solution of the Chechen problem (+ 23%)..

Among the biggest failures of Putin, the residents of Russia named the following:

fighting corruption, bribery (-21%), raising the living standards of citizens, increasing wages and pensions (-16%), curbing "oligarchs", limiting their influence (-11%), Economic development of the country (-8%).

The poll of the Levada Center was held April 7-10, 2017 among 1,600 people. The claimed sampling error was 3.4%.

According to the Levada Center poll, the majority of Russians (61%) heard about the protest actions that took place on March 26 in Russia. There is no unity among all survey participants about such actions: 38% approve of them, 38% - against, and 23% were at a loss to answer.
