US President Donald Trump intends to make changes to the law on citizenship, according to which children of migrants born in the United States will no longer receive US citizenship. Trump said this in an interview for the documentary series Axios on HBO.
Trump noted that he was “everyone told” about the need for a constitutional amendment to make this decision..
“But you know what? She's not needed, ”Trump said..
According to him, he can make such a decision by his decree, bypassing the act in the US Congress.
The American leader also called the situation “ridiculous”, when a person without American citizenship can come to the United States, have children and they will automatically become citizens of the United States..
