The appropriate instruction was given to the committee by the head of the parliament, Andrey Parubiy, following the results of the meeting. As written on Thursday, February 1, in his Twitter Parubiy, the committee should prepare a common position for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada.

Let us remind you that today Andrey Parubiy led a meeting in connection with the Polish law banning the so-called "Bandera ideology".

As reported URA-Inform, the Senate of Poland on the night of February 1, 2018 approved a law on amendments to the Institute of National Remembrance, which in particular provides for criminal liability for the so-called "Bandera ideology". The document concerns the definition of crimes of Ukrainian nationalists and Ukrainian organizations that cooperated with the Third Reich during the Second World War. Based on the law, it is possible to open criminal cases against people who deny the guilt of Ukrainian nationalists for crimes against Poles.
