Russia believes that the test of the missile engine of the latest operational-tactical complex "Thunder" of Ukrainian production is a direct threat to the Crimean bridge, which the invaders are building on the temporarily annexed peninsula.

This was stated by the deputy of the State Duma, recognized in Ukraine illegitimate, from the Crimea, deputy chairman of the Committee on Nationalities Ruslan Balbek, transmits the Russian propaganda resource RT.

"Demonstrating the tests of the new operational-tactical missile, Ukraine consciously reports a potential threat to the Crimean bridge: the declared range of flight theoretically allows launching from the Ukrainian territory to the Kerch Strait. Official Kiev unveiled tests of a new missile in the hope of spoiling Crimean New Year holidays. And, although, perhaps, this missile and 10 kilometers will not fly, but only get to the sky, the purpose of this information campaign is only to intimidate the civilian population, because they will not scare the grouping of Russian troops in the Crimea with their "experimental missile", he was indignant.

Balbeck added that now there is not a single convincing photo or video report where it would be seen the missile hit the target.

"For the time being, we are seeing only launches into nowhere, to be more precise, the missile's departure beyond the horizon. Where it lands and flies - this secret is kept in seven seals as uncomfortable truth in Kiev, "said the deputy.

As previously reported, a number of sources claim that the range of 280 km is a formal restriction for the export version of "Thunder", and for the needs of its own army, the range of fire of the complex can be increased to 450-500 kilometers.
