Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman advocates the transfer of the right to manage land plots to government bodies that are elected by the residents of the communities, and the State Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre to leave the function of filling the land registry. This is reported by the Chief with reference to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Groisman during the meeting of the National Council of Reforms stressed that land issues were and are quite controversial, but compromise and system solutions in this area are extremely necessary.

One such issue is the granting of the right to manage the land plots, which is currently carried out by the State Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre, combining at once two opposite functions: the order and control over the turnover of land.

"It is necessary to transfer management (land plots) to authorities that are elected.

So we will be able to ensure openness, publicity (of all processes) "... But for the State Geodagister it is necessary to leave the function of filling the register of data on land plots. This will ensure the control and regulation of the processes, "the prime minister said..

Groisman drew attention to the fact that the right to dispose of land resources will stimulate the development of communities and farming, the revival of which is determined by one of the priorities of government policy in the agrarian sector.
