American Bell V-22 Osprey flew for the first time in Ukraine. These are so-called convertoplanes.
As reported by the local newspaper Duma, Osprey aircraft will be on the military base in the Mykolayiv region. Here they will take part in the exercise "Sea Breeze-2017".
Odessa became the first city in Ukraine where these "strange birdies" sat, "the newspaper writes, adding that after refueling and border formalities both envelopes under the cover of darkness set off in a northeasterly direction.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, on Monday, July 10, in Odessa, the Ukrainian-American exercise "Sea Breeze-2017". They will last until July 23 in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions.
