If we see a threat to our territory, and the Crimea is our territory, then, like any state, we will protect our territory with all means available to us. On Thursday morning, June 15, in an interview with director Oliver Stone, said the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
At the same time, the Russian president noted that there was "nothing good" in the occurrence of military incidents near the Crimea, calling the appearance of the American destroyer "Donald Cook" near the peninsula a provocation.
And what does "Donald Cook" do near our territory? Who provokes whom? We intend to defend our territory, "Putin said..
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, yesterday Putin accused the US and Europe of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. According to Putin, in America they wanted to prevent the rapprochement between Russia and Ukraine, since they provided for this threat.
