The Kiev prosecutor's office completed an investigation into the first deputy Shevchenkivska RGA and four of his accomplices in connection with the theft of communal property and the appropriation of funds. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of Kiev. It is noted that the official, in collusion with employees of enterprises and individuals, has developed an illegal scheme for seizing communal real estate objects located in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city of Kiev. The criminal plan consisted in forgery of documents for real estate objects, which were later used in notary offices to change the owner to front men. After that, the communal property was reissued to the enterprises under the control of the first deputy chairman of the RGA or alienated in favor of third parties. It was found that under this scheme, from the beginning of 2015 to December 2016, 6 real estate objects were illegally alienated from communal property. The amount of losses caused is almost 36.5 million hryvnia. Also, the facts of illegal seizure of the first deputy chairman of the RGA by means of utilities to the amount of 4.1 million hryvnia. Earlier, five officials of the Ministry of Defense were detained for theft.
