Due to the military invasion of the Russian Federation, many Ukrainians have become internally displaced persons (IDPs). IDPs in Ukraine receive assistance from international organizations and from the state. The Ministry of Social Policy has concluded a memorandum with a separate division of the foreign non-governmental organization ACTED on the provision of additional payments to migrants from temporarily occupied territories and zones of active hostilities, the press service of the department writes..

It is noted that in addition to state programs, 10,000 people from among the most vulnerable groups from the temporarily occupied territories and zones of active hostilities will be supported..

The amount of the allowance will be UAH 2,220 per person per month in a lump sum payment for three months. At the initial stage, residents of Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk and Nikolaev regions can receive payments.

It is reported that the memorandum was signed during the meeting of the Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich with the Deputy Director of VPINO of the ACTED Branch in Ukraine Francis Oppermann.

Recall that starting from August 7, internally displaced persons can receive social services and assistance on the basis of a certificate from the State Migration Service of Ukraine or an eDocument.
