The Russian army is fighting in the Bakhmut direction, trying to create favorable conditions for taking control of the city of Bakhmut and the territory of the Uglegorsk TPP. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening summary.

The invaders are now conducting an assault near the village of Berestovoe and on the outskirts of the Uglegorsk TPP. There are fights going on.

In the indicated direction, the Russian troops fired at the areas of Berestovoye, Vesele, Yakovlevka, Soledar, Bakhmutsky, Vesela Dolina, Kodema, Mayorsk, New York and other settlements. Carried out airstrikes on Pokrovsky.

At the same time, the Ukrainian defenders once again successfully stopped the enemy assault in the Bogorodichny area, which is in the Slavic direction.

There, the invaders also fired from rocket artillery, cannon artillery and tanks in the areas of the Valley, Bogorodichny, Konstantinovka, Gusarovka, Bolshaya Kamyshevakha, Pokrovsky and other settlements.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russians also tried to storm, in the areas of Grigorovka and Disputed, however, they suffered losses and were forced to withdraw.

In this region, they carried out artillery shelling of the regions of Kramatorsk, Verkhnekamensky, Serebryanka and Ivano-Daryevka, launched missile and air strikes near Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
