Security Service of Ukraine warns of a new cyber threat. The occupiers send letters with viruses allegedly on behalf of the SBU, reports the Security Service of Ukraine on Facebook.

“The enemy does not leave attempts to arrange cyber attacks in Ukraine. This time the occupiers are sending out computer viruses allegedly on behalf of the SBU. The messages ask to download a file with supposedly instructions for actions during the wartime period. Although in fact it is a virus program,” the message says..

It is noted that the enemy uses popular instant messengers for correspondence..

“The main targets of the enemy are, first of all, civil servants, by whose phones, according to the occupiers, you can collect confidential information. Therefore, we urge Ukrainians to be attentive to any messages of this kind.. After all, the SBU does not produce any such mailings.!

"

The Security Service of Ukraine calls:.

do not open or download files from unknown persons;

remove it immediately? correspondence;

follow the rules of safe behavior on the Internet;

trust only official sources of information;
