For technical reasons in many schools in the Odessa region there is no Internet connection. For this reason, students can not use all means of obtaining knowledge.

This was told by the Director of the Department of Education and Science of Odessa OGA Alexander Lonchak, the correspondent of the Ukrainian Information Service.

According to him, problems with Internet connection have arisen in those areas that border on the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika. In addition, large Internet providers refuse to work in sparsely populated villages.

Children who study there are worthy to use all opportunities for obtaining knowledge. They do not differ from the pupils of Odessa and other cities. We introduced projects of electronic knowledge acquisition, therefore, without exception, schools should have high-speed Internet. A month left before the start of the new school year. By this time, this problem must be solved, - said the chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Stepanov.

The governor noted that on the eve of the conduct of the External Independent Evaluation an online program for the preparation of schoolchildren "Be Clever". To date, according to the results of the UPE it became known that this year the Odessa region rose to 7 positions in chemistry, history of Ukraine and mathematics.

Since the program was successful, it will be used in the future. For this, a high-speed connection is required in all schools in the region. Maxim Stepanov instructed to solve the problem of network connection before the beginning of the academic year.
