The prosecutor's office of the Odessa region began criminal proceedings on the fact that the Odessa City Council renamed a number of streets that had already been renamed as part of decommunization, the press service of the department.
It is noted that the criminal proceedings commenced on. 2 items. 436-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (manufacturing, distribution of communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of the communist and national-socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes) after the Odessa City Council renamed a number of streets.
The pre-trial investigation was entrusted to the Chief Directorate of the National Police in the Odessa region.
