This year, Huawei is going to open a research laboratory in Japan, and to provide it with talented personnel, the Chinese vendor is ready to pay employees significantly more than offered in local firms, reports Nikkei.

Huawei posted job advertisements on the Japanese recruiting site Rikunabi. The company needs young specialists in the field of engineering and technical sciences: applications are accepted from applicants who graduated or graduated from universities in the period from September 2017 to March 2018. Among the proposed vacancies is a telecommunications network engineer and an end equipment testing engineer. In total, Huawei plans to employ a few dozen employees.

Bachelor's diploma is ready to pay 401 thousand yen (about 3650 US dollars) per month, which is about twice the salary level in Japanese companies. Graduated masters will be able to receive in Huawei 430 thousand yen (almost 4000 dollars).

"The majority of young Japanese specialists are seeking to work for the well-known companies of their country. To attract the best talents, we must offer good working conditions and decent compensation. I do not think that the salary indicated by us is too high.

Most foreign companies offer a similar level of payment in order to hire good engineers, "said Rui Tomioka, head of the public relations department of Huawei Japan, in an interview with the publication..

Huawei intends to invest about 5 billion yen (about 45.4 million dollars) in a new research laboratory in the city of Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, near Tokyo. The company also does not exclude the possibility of additional investment.

The Chinese vendor expects to use the latest Japanese production technologies and quality control methods to apply them on its production sites around the world.
