Members of the Trump Council on Cybersecurity have resigned as a protest

Immediately eight members of the White House Council on Cybersecurity have resigned because of disagreement with the policies of US President Donald Trump on a number of issues. This is reported by The Verge.

Among the reasons that prompted the experts to leave the Council, including the withdrawal from the Paris climate agreements and the reaction of Trump to the events in Charlottesville. The statement of resignation says that the actions of the President of America "threaten the security of the homeland, which we swore to protect".

In addition, now former members of the Council pointed out that Donald Trump paid insufficient attention to national security issues, as well as the information protection of the United States.
