GTA 6: beware of the shahrays, the new version is a clue

Feelings about the release of the full version of Grand Theft Auto VI have again flooded the Internet. However, be careful: most likely, this is the shahray’s attempt to deceive you, as it has already been for many months with fake resources from “CyberLeek”.

TikTok spreads misinformation.

A viral video on TikTok under the title “GTA 6 is still a bad thing” has over 306 thousand likes, 44 thousand reposts and 5600 comments. To some of your friends, you can download a file called “Grand Theft Auto VI CYBERLEEK”? build. v1. 245. ISO"

On the page of the download it is stated that the version was downloaded on September 26, 2026, has a size of 130 GB, and also displays 1337 seats and 42 characters. Please note that these data are not guessable and cannot be reversed.. When looking at the list of files in detail, the installer “GTAVI_INSTALLER. exe"

Unsafe files with known names.

This is not a single fake release under the name CyberLeek. Another 22 years ago, the VGA4A gaming portal revealed a similar torrent file “CYBERLEEK? build. v1. 245. ISO" There was also an advance to make Windows metadata visible, as Steam does not guarantee the authenticity of the file.

Around the same hour, Tom’s Hardware announced another image with a size of 113 GB. The investigation of this file showed that 99.99% of it is empty data. The reference code becomes more than 50 KB and is due to the useless software.

Risk of virus infection.

These Shahra files appeared immediately after the real data flows associated with CyberLeek. The company Malwarebytes 24 Serpnya published a report that after a series of real fragments of the 18th Serpnya game, the next day an image of the weak software “gta6_installer” was revealed. exe" This is a Trojan stealer that steals saved browser passwords, cookies and cloud session data.

Thus, the most popular video on TikTok, which confirms the release of a new version of the game on the CyberLeek thread, is disinformation. Rockstar Games has not yet officially released the latest fragments of the game, besides the trailer. We are eagerly trying to avoid the acquisition of any files, as is the case with GTA 6. These resources with a high level of reliability can prevent the use of a cheap code.
