In his official Twitter account, Spanish Elche announced the successful completion of negotiations with London's Tottenham regarding the transfer of goalkeeper Paulo Gassaniga to the White-Greens on loan.
The agreement with the 29-year-old goal keeper was signed before the end of the current season, after which the player will return to Spurs, where he will have one more year before the end of his contract with the club..
This transfer leaves the head coach of the London club with a choice of three goalkeepers, including two experienced: Hugo Lloris (34) and Joe Hart (33), as well as academy graduate Alfie Whiteman (22).
In the current season, Gassaniga did not appear on the field with Tottenham, only twice in the application for the FA Cup games against Wycombe (4: 1) and Marina (5: 0).
Argentine goalkeeper will have the opportunity to debut in the match against Villarreal next weekend.
