"I'm happy to announce that the captain of the national team of Serbia will be Alexander Kolarov, and his vice-captain will be Nemanja Matic," said Krstajic.

"Branislav Ivanovich was and remains a part of our team, he gave a lot to the team, as the national team gave him much. Between us there are no misunderstandings, I have explained everything openly to him ".

At the upcoming World Cup, the Serbian team will play in the same group as Brazil, Switzerland and Costa Rica.
