Defender Virgil van Dyke can still become a player of Liverpool, but the Red will have to pay 70 million pounds for this transfer.
Liverpool negotiated with van Dyck without permission from Southampton. Saints complained about the actions of the Merseyside. It all ended with Liverpool's apologies and statements that he was no longer interested in van Dyck. At the same time, the Dutchman wants to play for Liverpool.
Southampton will agree to sell van Dyck Liverpool, but for the Reds will operate a special price - 70 million pounds, - says Express.
Earlier, Liverpool had already spent 39 million pounds on signing winger Roma Mohamed Salah.
It is also assumed that the Reds will compete for the winger of Arsenal Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has only one year of contract with the Gunners.
