The Gunners in this season could not finish in the top four.
In order to finish in the zone of the Champions League, Arsenal in the 38th round it was necessary to beat Everton and hope for the loss of Liverpool points.
With their task, Gunners managed, but Liverpool London team was not happy. The Reds, without much difficulty in their native walls, defeated Middlesbrough, which put an end to Ligochemion's hopes of the Wenger team.
Thus, the Gunners in this season finished in fourth place. This means that next season the London team in the Champions League we will not see.
Last time outside the first four Arsenal finished in 1996.
Arsen's current coach Gunner Wenger led the team just after the 1995/1996 season and since then his team has consistently fallen into the top four.
