Former England coach Sam Allardyce told about the period after the scandalous dismissal from the post of head coach of the national team.

Big Sam was appointed coach of Three Lions after the unsuccessful performance of the team at Euro-2016 under the leadership of Roy Hodgson, but managed to hold at the helm of the national team only one duel.

The reason for this was a grand scandal, which provoked a journalistic investigation conducted by The Daily Telegraph. In its pages, the publication published pictures of Allardyce's meeting with two people, during which Sam allegedly promised to help circumvent several transfer rules of the Football Association of England.

In addition, according to The Daily Telegraph, Allardyce claimed 400,000 pounds for his services, while also making several insulting speeches against his predecessor in England, Roy Hodgson, representatives of the FA and even Prince Harry himself.

Due to the scandal, Sam was fired from the post of head coach of the Three Lions, having experienced the most difficult period in his career.

"That night I drove behind the wheel, and, it's worth saying, I've never driven a car so slowly in my life so slowly. A few people called me, I talked with them ".

"The road was clean, but I was spinning at a speed of 50 miles per hour. I was on the road for five and a half hours, everything lasted so long. I could not turn on the radio and drove the car in silence, because as soon as I turned it on I heard a lot of shit, "Allardyce began.

"I was proud to lead the England team. I was ready for this and felt comfortable. My whole team was determined to work hard to change the team for the better, and we started well, winning the first match against Slovakia. And then everything stopped.. After 67 days. Except for the last two, these were wonderful days ".

"After the dismissal, I could not watch the game of England. I have tried. Withstood, perhaps, 15-20 minutes, but could not continue and switched to something else. On the TV screen was Wembley, and I did not manage to hold a single game at this stadium ".

"It was a terrible moment - I was turned inside out," Sam finished..

At the moment, Allardyce is training Crystal Palace, taking with the team the 13th line in the Premier League for the tour until the end of the championship.
