For the first time in history, three countries will host the FIFA World Cup at once.. The 2026 World Championship will take place in stadiums in the USA, Mexico and Canada from June 11 to July 19. The organizers expanded the World Cup to a record 48 national teams, which were divided into 12 groups.
At the first stage of the tournament, the greatest interest of fans is focused on the favorites - the current champions, the Argentines, as well as the French, Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
World Cup debutants Curacao, Uzbekistan, Cape Verde and Jordan will also be monitored.
To advance to the next stage of the competition, teams need to get into the top 2 of their groups. This guarantees an automatic place in the relegation games. And among the teams that take third place, the eight best will be determined and will continue to fight for medals.
