The match of the group tournament of the World Hockey Championship Switzerland - Slovenia was remembered not so heroically by the Slovenes as a trick of their player.

Slovenia recouped from the score 0: 4 and lost only in the shootout series. But most of all shocked Zhig Eglich, who struck with the blade of the skate striker of the Swiss team, Thomas Ryufenaht.

The incident occurred near the bench of the Slovenes, and Eglich just climbed over the ledge. The video shows that he did not hit the opponent.

However, the IIHF Disciplinary Committee, although acknowledging Eglich's actions as malicious, suspended the hockey player for only two matches.
