People's Deputies have registered in the Verkhovna Rada an alternative to the presidential bill on renaming the Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukrainian Pravda reports.
The initiators of the project №9310-1 "On Amendments to Article 133 of the Constitution of Ukraine (regarding the renaming of the Dnipropetrovsk region)" were joined by more than one hundred people's deputies, including representatives of the factions "Popular Front", "Batkivschyna", Radical Party, BPP, "Samopomich", groups "Will of the People" and Dmitry Yarosh.
While the text of the document on the site is missing, but one of the authors of the legislative initiative, Yegor Sobolev, in a commentary to the Ukrainian Pravda, said that the deputies again propose to the Rada to name the region Sicheslavskaya.
