In the Netherlands, they commemorated the victims of the Boeing MH17 crash. This was stated in the commentary "112 Ukraine" by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Netherlands Vsevolod Chentsov.

"Today, as in the past year, the events took place on the site of the memorial, its opening was held a year ago. The memorial itself is located near the Schiphol airport. The ceremony itself was, on the one hand, modest, and on the other hand it was very touching. Its central element was the reading of the names of the deceased, all 298 names were read by relatives and friends, "Chentsov said..

He added that at the ceremony were speeches by the mayor of the city, the clergy. Near the court will also be the trial itself. The leadership of the country, headed by the prime minister, as well as the parliament.

Let's remind, the airliner Boeing 777-200ER of airline Malaysia Airlines carried out planned flight MH17 on a route Amsterdam - Kuala Lumpur. After 2 hours and 49 minutes after takeoff, he collapsed to the ground in the Grabovo district of the Donetsk region. The plane was completely destroyed, all 298 passengers who were on board were killed.

Responsibility for the fall of the airliner was laid on Russia. However, that its involvement in the disaster denies.

According to the investigation, the missile system Buk, which shot down the MH17, belonged to the 53rd Air Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, was illegally delivered to the territory of Ukraine through an uncontrolled section of the Russian-Ukrainian state border and hurriedly transported back to Russia after the aircraft was shot down.
