Employees of Koltsovo customs found in the luggage of a Tajik citizen almost 30 kg of undeclared textiles. The man flew from Dushanbe and tried to penetrate into the territory of Russia along the "green corridor".
During the examination of baggage, the customs officer found 28.3 kg of pajamas, underwear, cardigans, shawls, rubber bands and hairpins. The luggage owner stated that he was bringing gifts to familiar women and did not know that they should be declared. However, customs officials doubted that these are really things for personal use - there were a lot of them and different sizes.
In relation to a citizen, an administrative case has been initiated for the non-declaration of goods. The article implies a fine of 0.5 to two times the value of the goods, and also allows its confiscation.
