Sverdlovsk Rosselkhoznadzor destroyed about 4 tons of apples

Employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration in the Sverdlovsk Region seized 3,791 kg of apples banned for import into Russia.

"One of the warehouses of the base found 275 boxes with products banned to import into the Russian Federation: apples of fresh unidentified origin, with traces of re-marking and without accompanying documents," the supervisory agency.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 391 of 29 July 2015 and Government Decree No. 774 of July 31, 2015, the products are withdrawn from circulation and destroyed at the landfill by denaturing (mixing with land).
