In Kiev region, unknown people threw 60 kilograms of batteries under the open sky

Batteries lay directly under the open sky. Such data with the help of a social network was distributed by an organization of volunteers called "Batteries, give up". According to their data - alkaline batteries were in the package. Volunteers suggest that these batteries were discarded as spoiled.

At the moment, hazardous wastes were sent to the transit point of the capital. As is known, such used batteries in themselves contain cadmium, as well as mercury, tin, magnesium and other elements.

As reported URA-Inform, Lviv in mid-July was cleared of household waste.
