Leader of the group "Ocean Elzy" Svyatoslav Vakarchuk could not keep the painful memories in himself and decided to admit everything.
So, on the Day of Remembrance of Victims of the Holodomor, Vakarchuk confessed that his family also touched this grief.
On his page on Twitter, the musician told that his grandmother found the days when mass destruction of Ukrainians took place, which they began to speak aloud relatively recently.
"My grandmother Nina survived the Holodomor. But then for the rest of her life she could not eat black bread. When I remember her, I understand what terrible trauma Ukraine got then. We have no right to forget! ", - said Svyatoslav.
