Famous Hollywood actress Holly Bury in one of the recent interviews told of her hard childhood. According to the actress, it was the problems she experienced and her troubles that helped her achieve fame.

It all began with the fact that Berry had to grow up in a mixed family (her mother was fair-skinned, while her father was black) and a bad neighborhood. So, in the school that Holly and her sister attended, there was a lot of violence. Therefore, the mother decided to change the institution by sending daughters to a school for the fair-skinned. For two black girls it was almost a verdict.

"Because my mother was white and my father black, we were called" Oreo cookies ". Children did not understand that we were just different. I think that my constant desire to achieve more is related to school years, when I constantly tried to prove that I am no worse than white children. I thought: "If I can defeat them in everything, then I will be as good as they are", - the actress shares her memories.

By the way, earlier Halle Berry frankly told about the loss of her daughter.
