The Air Force plans to take the Hitchcock film as the basis, and make a mini-series.
The series will be produced by Heyday Television and NBCUniversal International Studios,.
The script will be written by Irish writer and playwright Conor McPherson. He has already adapted this literary source for theatrical production.
We add that Hitchcock's "Birds" were taken from the literary story of Daphne DuMorier.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the legendary director was accused of sexual harassment. American actress Tippi Hedren, who is known for such films as "Marni" and "Birds", in her memoirs accused the famous British director Alfred Hitchcock of sexual harassment.
