Portal runews24. ru writes that the Chairman of the Board of Sberbank German Gref positively assessed the idea of ??privatization of a financial institution.
The head of the credit institution underlined that the less public sector there is in the economy, the better.
Gref said: "I have always acted from such a position - as few government banks as possible, as much as possible of strong private financial organizations".
Also, the chairman of the board of Sberbank said that the final decision on this issue will be taken by the state. In the event that the authorities favor privatization of the bank, the management will support this idea.
Sberbank has earlier advocated the creation of a new banking organization in Russia.
