The Kremlin website reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the leaders of a number of countries on the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War,. RU".
The congratulation reads:
"The President of Russia congratulated the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, as well as citizens of Georgia and Ukraine on the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War".
The Russian leader also stressed that the best tribute to the liberator soldiers is the joint struggle against any attempts to distort history and justify the criminal acts of fascism and Nazism.
Putin conveyed a deep bow to all war veterans and home front workers, wishing them health, prosperity and long life.
